We have been from slavery AND have been adopted by God.  A slave has no rights, no prospects, no privileges and is stuck in an unending cycle. Romans 8: 15 says  “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” What a revelation that is to a born again Believer!
