UNTIL GOD OPENS THE NEXT DOOR, PRAISE HIM IN THE HALLWAYS!
There are times in our life that we seem to not know what direction God is leading us. It’s not that God has abandoned us or forgotten us, He is preparing us. Patience is the key. Until a “new door” or direction is opened, “PRAISE HIM IN YOUR HALLWAY’. I found that these in-between-times is a place of rest. It’s in these times that we can draw even closer to Him, it’s a place of preparation for what’s up ahead. A time to catch-up, to breathe, to reconnect, to be filled to overflowing so that we can give out from our place of more than enough, and not from a place of just enough, or barely enough for even ourselves.
God has a plan with your and my best interests in mind.
One door may have closed, but don’t be sad or despondent, don’t feel rejected, God’s not finished with you, or me, yet. It’s good to slow down, so we don’t look past, forget or take for granted, what’s important. God has so much in-store for us, He knows we need rest even if we don’t think so.
There is still so much to enjoy while we are waiting. It’s not all about works. Strengthen your heart and mind, through His Word, preparing yourself each day for what God has prepared for you, in that day, until the next door opens wide.
Perhaps your life may not be going as you planned it, but it is going exactly the way God planned it.
Never hold on to anything tighter than you are holding on to God.
Let Go… Let God… He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) He knows the beginning from the end, everything He has planned will come to pass (Isaiah 46:10)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Praise Him in the Hallway’s. . ..you never know what you might discover.
