33 Things the Holy Spirit Does

I was reading John 14:26, “The Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Father will send Him in My place. He will teach you everything and help you remember everything I have told you.”
I began to ponder – if the Holy Spirit teaches us all things pertaining to living the Spirit-filled life, what are they? In my research I came across this list in the Charisma Magazine.

There are so many more – how many can you discover?

As we draw closer to God, He promises He will draw closer to us (Hebrews 4:8) and we not only experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, we can hear Him and He helps us to gain truth, wisdom and insight about how much God loves us and how to live according to His purpose for us.

No one can truly know Jesus Christ unless we are taught of the Spirit. We can read the Bible backwards and forwards – but unless the Spirit of God teaches us – we read it in vain. It is the Spirit of God who discloses to us what is to come. It is God’s Holy Spirit who will reveal the deep sayings of Christ Himself and disclose them to us. He is our Comforter. He is our Counsellor.

He is our Advocate. He is our Helper. It’s time for us to really turn our ears to Him and really listen to Him. He has good news for all those who truly search for Him.
