I’m a list person. I have to-do-lists, shopping lists, gift lists, renovating list, craft lists, my ‘bucket list’ and so many more.
Quite sad when I think about it – don’t laugh, most of us do.
Making lists is a good thing. They keep us on track, they help us to remember, keep us focused.
We’ve even collated lists from the Bible – Our identity scripture list, healing scripture list, the Romans Walk scripture list, and many others. It’s easy to write lists, but we need to follow through, and complete, to have the full benefit of our lists.
When I came across this article by Regina Brett, I had to smile – now this is a list!

We need to get back to the basics and just start appreciating every second of every day. Life is truly a gift, we can be so focused on the bigger things, or trivial issues that we lose sight of what’s important… and many times it’s those simple little things. We need to take a deep breath (more than one if needed), smile, for today is a beautiful day! Then, start doing and living the “To Do” list one small bite at a time!
Ecclesiastes 3 talks about a time for everything and appreciating the moments. It’s a list!
“Each day is a new day, filled with promise, let’s begin it with a smile…”
Psalm 30:5… ”for joy comes in the morning”
