We look forward to meeting you!

He Will Never Fail You

George Mueller wrote: “Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.”

In 1 Samuel 30:6 we read that David encouraged himself in the Lord. We can do the same.

Scripture gives us some wonderful verses to live by and pray over ourselves, our loved ones and others. Romans 15:4 (HCBV) says, “For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.”

For example, there’s a great prayer in Colossians 1:9-14 asking God to “give us complete knowledge of His will and to give us spiritual wisdom and understanding.”

Below is a list of 6 reasons to help guide us each day to live His will for our lives.

1. To live lives worthy of the Lord – v.10 (Matthew 10:37-39).

2. So we’ll please Jesus in every way – v.10 (Ephesians 5:8-17).

3. To bear fruit in every good work – v.10   (Ephesians 2:10).

4. So we’ll grow in knowledge of God – v.10 (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

5. To be strengthened with God’s power – v.11 (2 Corinthians 12:9).

6. So we’ll have endurance, patience, and thankfulness – v.11-12 (Romans 5:3-5).

Why should we pray this way?

Because God “has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.” (Colossians 1:13)

When nothing else will work, encourage yourself in the Lord. Do it with the Word of God.
1 John 5:14 encourages us that God hears our prayers, “for this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.”

J.I. Packer wrote: “The stars may fall, but God’s promises will stand and be fulfilled.”
