We look forward to meeting you!

I Am Grateful

Enjoy-every-day

It’s Easter Monday, and again in our Church Services we have been reminded what Jesus so willingly did for each one of us. We have so much to be grateful for. It shouldn’t be just Easter or Christmas time that we remember and celebrate God’s plan for us, we should….

START EACH DAY WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

Take a moment, a deep breath and think of how blessed you are.

Perhaps think of 5 things you are grateful for.

5 things for me:

I AM GRATEFUL that I have ears that can hear: the birds singing, the family chatting, the telephone ringing.
I AM GRATEFUL that I have eyes that can see: birds in our trees, the family playing together, and even the dirty dishes in the sink for it means there was food to eat and family time together.
I AM GRATEFUL that I can smell: the smell of fresh rain after a long hot summer, the smell of tempting food cooking, and even the smell of the boys’ sweaty shoes (yuk!!)
I AM GRATEFUL that I have a voice: I can talk with friends and family, I can sing (even out of key) praises to my King! (He says – make a joyful sound, not a perfect sound)
I AM GRATEFUL for life: in every challenge, and in every laughter filled moment.

What are yours?

With a GRATEFUL heart shout it out, or say it quietly, or sing it out loud, or perhaps share it with others, or share it with your actions. Show it in giving or by just living with the attitude of GRATEFULNESS! It will change your day and those around you.

Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

There’s something to be GRATEFUL for – God has planned this day with you in mind.

May today bring you many opportunities for a GRATEFUL heart.

James 1:17……Father, I thank YOU that every good and perfect gift in my life comes down from You, and that there is never any variation with YOU.
